The essence of network marketing is caring, sharing and giving. It is about helping people to be happy, healthy and wealthy. It is about sharing a great opportunity to get products at wholesale prices and earn lifetime residual income. It is about communication and giving a gift and not everyone is ready to accept your gift.
There is a wise saying: When a student is ready the teacher will appear. Not everyone is ready for the network marketing opportunity you offer them. There are physical blocks in arteries which can lead to heart attack or stroke and there are mental blocks which make people miss great opportunities and that's life!
Network marketers must face the reality that most people are negative and are not business minded and not all can "see" this great opportunity which give ordinary people a simple and powerful way to earn extraordinary income. That is why when you start sharing your opportunity you can sense some people start "shutting down", for some reasons, their defences are up, most likely it was from some bad experiences before or they have tried network marketing by joining the wrong companies or did the wrong things and failed!
When you know something good it is your moral obligation to share. Your role is not to convince but to share, a man against his will is of the same opinion still. Helen Keller said it very well: There are none so blind as those who would not see.
Do not force your gift on people who are not ready to receive it and always keep the friendship, the timing may not be right, they may not be ready and ask their permission to keep them informed of your progress and to share the opportunity in the future, it will be better if they can give you a time for you to share with them the opportunity again, it could be six months down the road or even a year later.
