A GREAT LESSON FROM ABRAHAM LINCOLN!

You may have experienced so called "defeats" or "failures" in 2007 but let that not keep you from focussing on achieving your dreams in 2008. Experiences good or bad only make you stronger and wiser!
Many people seem to be ignorant that many successful people had to go through a string of "failures" or challenges before they became successful!

And that is why very few achieve success because they give up on their dreams too soon after facing a few "setbacks", "failures" and "challenges".

There are no "failures", only "learning experiences" and the only "failure" is to give up on your dreams!

Here's a classic example of a great man who failed his way to success!

Abraham Lincoln didn't let his failures stop him from becoming the 16th President of USA!

He failed as a business man - as a storekeeper.

He failed as a farmer - he despised this work.

He failed in his first attempt to obtain political office.

When elected to the legislature he failed when he sought the office of speaker.

He failed in his first attempt to go to Congress.

He failed when he sought the appointment to the United States Land Office.

He failed when he ran for the United States Senate.

He failed when friends sought for him the nomination for the vice-presidency in 1856.

Finally in 1860 he was elected as the 16th and one of the greatest presidents in American history!

Hold on tight to your dreams and remember this wise saying:
