If you are a president, prime minister or health minister of a country, ask yourself these important questions: "Can you sleep in peace every night knowing that you have done everything you could to protect your people from the impending pandemic?" When it comes to judgement day, how are you going to answer those millions of souls who lost their lives and those who lost their loved ones on why what could have been done wasn't acted upon?"
When you have fair warnings by WHO and knowing that millions of lives will be lost due to lack of preparation then why didn't you as a leader or head of a government agency put all efforts and resources and do everything you can to protect your people? What is your excuse? Talking about the universal law of cause and effect, every effect there is a cause and right now is the time to look at all angles on how you can save lives and reduce the number of death when the next pandemic strikes!
When a pandemic strikes, economies will be destroyed and trillions of dollars will go down the drain and that is why it is to the interest of the billionaires and multi-millionaires to support government agencies in preparation to save as many lives as possible and to contain the pandemic and even prevent it from happening!
If you are a billionaire, what good can you do with your billions? You know you can't take a cent with you when you die so why not use some of your billions to help people live a better life? Because as long as there are millions of people living in slums, these are the places that will trigger a pandemic and all countries must co-operate to help countries that are stricken by natural disasters because these could trigger a pandemic too!
As long as there are people living in slums and there are child prostitutes, we cannot call ourselves a civilized society when we allow children to be abused and live like animals! Even animals do not do the shameful and evil things that men are doing such as exploiting and abusing their young, it is very shameful and I strongly feel that leaders of the world should be ashamed that child prostitution is happening in their country and they are not doing enough to protect children and reduce poverty! I know that I am deviating from the subject of pandemic but this is one obvious area that leaders of the world are not doing enough! As long as you allow one child to be forced to become a prostitute, you have not done enough!
Now back to the subject of pandemic, whether you are a billionaire, multi-millionaire or an ordinary person, everyone should do what they can to prevent a pandemic from happening and when it happens, that will be the test of human spirit and that is why we must do everything we can now to prepare ourselves for the next pandemic.
Here are the things we can do right now, reduce pollution, reduce global warming, reduce poverty, reduce the number of slums and ensure the underdeveloped countries have the resources and assistance to be well prepared for the pandemic and has the support system to contain and prevent it from spreading to other countries!
Many natural disasters are triggered by global warming and mother nature is giving her stern warnings that all leaders of the world must take action now to reduce pollution and global warming before millions of lives will be lost! The horrors and sufferings will be beyond anyone's imagination!
All the money in the world means nothing to the person who lost a loved one and that is why love and wisdom is the only hope we have to prevent a pandemic from happening and even if it happens let us all do as much as we can to save as many lives as possible!
Here are the soul-searching questions, "How much do you value a person's life?",
"Have you done enough?" and "Are you doing the right things and doing what is right?"
The tsuanmi killed hundreds of thousands of people because there was not an effective warning system in place, with the latest technology, scientists knew about the undersea earthquake and they knew that it will trigger a tsunami but the people were not given fair warnings? Why? Did the countries and scientists co-operated and communicated well? Were the communication system in place? Did the government leaders ensure that they have invested enough to have an effective tsunami warning system? Now with the pandemic you have an "invisible tsunami" and this time if we do no get our act together and do the right things, millions of lives will be lost!
